The Magic of a Rainbow Baby
No one can prepare you for the immense joy that a rainbow baby brings. It’s a joy that is deep, raw, and filled with gratitude—a joy that no one can fully prepare you for until it’s experienced firsthand.

Family Portraits With Older Kids
For most families, the journey of capturing family portraits often begins with "The Big Day"—your wedding. As our families grow, we become obsessed with documenting every moment, both waking and sleeping. However, I've noticed something a bit heartbreaking: as they mature, we tend to document them less and less.

At Home Memories Frozen in Time
A lovely day with the Daughtry family in celebration of Lucy's birth. At-home sessions are always so special because this is where most family memories are made. In this case, it was twice as special because I was able to document them through two mediums, photography and video.
Linh & Kelly | Atlanta Wedding
Vietnamese Tea Ceremony
In Vietnamese culture, a tea ceremony symbolizes the union of two families. The full day of festivities honors the bride and groom's family, their parents, grandparents, and ancestors. In accordance with Vietnamese tradition, the groom and his family presented the bride's family with gifts; among them was a large roasted pig.

The Whole Family
Mom, Dad, the little man, and the family pet. Everyone gets their shot in front of the camera because tomorrow you'll be glad they did. Children and pets always take the most patience, but I LOVE photographing them individually and together.

Less is more
Truer words have never been spoken. This is one of my favorite sessions this year and there's nothing complicated about it at all. A clean and beautiful living room in a high-rise condo, a blank wall, a sweet high-rise patio, and an abundance of love.

Unpredictable Beginnings
The first days of parenthood are different for everyone. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict what they will be like. You can prepare, read the books, organize, and plan, but what will be will be. So, how can you make the most of an experience that is not predictable?

Twice the Love
Few things can make a momma's heart explode like the excitement and joy that a firstborn shows over her second-born. The first few moments after bringing home your second child are often filled with awe as you watch your two miracles interact and bond.

At-Home Session
Home is truly where the heart is. Most of our cherished memories take place under one roof; our place of shelter and retreat from the stresses of the world. I absolutely love sessions at home. There's something truly personal about them and I often imagine the children as grown-ups sharing these photos with their children and grandchildren while telling them about their childhood home and the memories that were made there.

Frozen in Time
When you find your one and only you might believe that life couldn't possibly feel more complete. But then one day a third person arrives; a perfect combination of two, wrapped in an innocent small package. I recognize this as the beginning of the most genuine, purest love a human being can experience.

Six Month Milestone
Still one of my favorite and sweetest seasons of babyhood. Slowly but surely, little babes find the strength to sit upright and reach for anything close enough to grab and explore. Whether it's a leaf or mom's beautiful locks of hair, everything is a treasure.
CHRISTINA & JUSTIN | Atlanta ENGAGEMENT Portraits
The Next Chapter
This past winter I had the honor of photographing this adorable couple at Serenbe to document their engagement and the beginning of the next chapter of their lives. Christina flew down from New York the day before our session, and boy am I glad we lucked out with the weather.

Celebrate Them While You Can
Regina Brett said it best when she wrote, "If you're lucky enough to still have grandparents, visit them, cherish them and celebrate them while you can." Today I am featuring a few portraits from some of my recent family sessions that included grandparents. I can't tell you how priceless these photos will be to you, your parents, and most importantly, your children.

Brotherly Love
This heartwarming lifestyle film newborn session was photographed in the beautiful Atlanta home of the Kleinman family. It has been such a joy to document this growing family and their home full of brotherly love for almost 4 years. With two curious, silly, and loving older brothers, baby Jack is in great hands.
JESSICA & HONEYDEW | Atlanta Dog Portraits
A Forever Friendship
If you're a dog lover like me, you're about to fall in love with the sweetest and loveliest puppy. Yes, I did leave this session seriously considering getting a dog, and I'm not entirely sure those urges have left me. There's something so sweet and beautiful about our relationships with our pets.

Expecting Baby Davis
Nothing could possibly match the excitement and anticipation that you experience when you're expecting you're firstborn. What a joy it was to document this sweet couple as they prepared to become a family of three.

The Importance of Fatherhood Portraits
When it comes to family photography, mothers take center stage. I will never argue that moms don't deserve that kind of love and praise, because they absolutely do. But there's one person in the family who often hides in mom's shadow and usually isn't too crazy about the attention that comes from getting portraits taken.

Six Month Milestone
One of my favorite early milestones is the six-month mark in a baby's first year of life. Smiles and laughter are still pretty new to them but their giggles are the equivalent of sonic gold. They are just starting to find some stability within their wobbly bodies and feeling curious about the many textures in their world. Even though there is still a lot that they don't have a firm grasp on, they have one solid constant, the mutual love between baby, momma, and dada.

Saying "YES" To Letting Go
For years, documenting the life and love of this family has been such an honor. These portraits are the result of pure simplicity, genuine love, and a family that says "yes" to letting go and giving me complete artistic freedom. Letting go is hard, and I speak from experience because I too have a vision I dream of when it comes to my own family's portraits.
