Less is more
Truer words have never been spoken. This is one of my favorite sessions this year and there's nothing complicated about it at all. A clean and beautiful living room in a high-rise condo, a blank wall, a sweet high-rise patio, and an abundance of love.
Don't have enough light in your home? No worries there either. Other than the outdoor shots, this entire session was artificially lit. Clients are often frustrated when they have a sweet space they want to photograph but they feel limited by the sun, times of the day, or the weather. But that's never an issue for me. I've got your back.
Beautiful portraits can happen anywhere. The fewer distractions, the better. If you're wanting to document a moment in time, please know that you absolutely can do it in a simple space. In fact, you might have an advantage, because there is nothing more important or more beautiful than the people and the moments you are wanting to preserve.
